WEBVTT

1
00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:00.407
need to have the type faces we
choose installed on their computers.

2
00:00:00.407 --> 00:00:04.293
Otherwise, the browser
will not display them.

3
00:00:04.293 --> 00:00:10.246
Besides the limited number of web safe
typefaces installed on a user's computer,

4
00:00:10.246 --> 00:00:15.104
we're also able to provide our own fonts,
by importing web fonts.

5
00:00:15.104 --> 00:00:20.740
Web fonts are special types of fonts
that are optimized for screen display.

6
00:00:20.740 --> 00:00:25.689
And they're linked to our
webpages from an external source,

7
00:00:25.689 --> 00:00:28.076
then activated when needed.

8
00:00:28.076 --> 00:00:30.000
There are different ways we can
import a web font with CSS.
