In this course, you're going to learn how
to use Adobe Illustrator through the lens

If you're new to Illustrator and want to
get familiar with the fundamentals, or

In this course, we're going to create
a simple homepage design and logo for

a fictitious company that specializes
in pencil sales, called Pencil and Co.

There will be three distinct deliverables.

First, the wire frame, which will act as
the blueprint for the homepage design.

Second, a new graphic logo for the company
that will be used prominently on the site.

And third, a fully realized homepage
mock-up for both mobile and

desktop that will include a fresh logo,
images, and typography.

Our project is going to be
divided into five sections.

In section one, we'll begin by talking
about what makes Adobe Illustrator unique.

And after customizing your work space,

we'll get started creating a new
document with multiple art boards.

In section two, you'll learn
about the importance of grids and

create a wire frame for
both mobile and desktop.

We'll utilize helpful tools,
such as symbols and

graphic styles that allow us
to speed up our workflow.

In section three, we'll get into drawing
with vector using the Pen and Pencil tool.

working from a sketch, we will take it
all the way to a finished illustration.
