Let’s first dive into a bit of history.

Photoshop really kicked things off for
digital design and paved the way for

Photoshop was created in 1988 by two
brothers, Thomas and John Knoll.

Originally named Display which was
intended to simply process images and,

well display them on a monochrome screen.

The brothers expanded the features
to include color display support and

Finally, Thomas and John Knoll licensed
the app to Adobe and called it Photoshop,
