Check the closing tags after portfolio. I think you have a stray closing anchor tag. You may have meant to add a link there?

Hi. Yes, missing opening of your anchor tag:

<nav> <ul> <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li> <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li> <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li> </ul> </nav>

Hi Margaret!

If you take a look at the line where you're adding the "Portfolio" item you are missing the beginning part of your anchor tag. Example:

```<li><a href="#">Portfolio</a></li>
I hope this helps!
