Bummer! I couldn't import `string_factory`.

I can't figure out why I am getting this error. I thought I needed to call the function, but that wasn't it.

string_factory.py
# Example:
# values = [{"name": "Michelangelo", "food": "PIZZA"}, {"name": "Garfield", "food": "lasagna"}]
# string_factory(values)
# ["Hi, I'm Michelangelo and I love to eat PIZZA!", "Hi, I'm Garfield and I love to eat lasagna!"]

template = "Hi, I'm {name} and I love to eat {food}!"

def string_factory(list_of_dict):
    my_list = []
    for item in list_of_dict:
        my_list.append(string.format(**item))
    return my_list

string_factory(template)

There are two mistakes in your code.

  1. Why are you calling the function? The challenge didn't ask you to do that.
  2. In the function, you called the format function on what? Where is string defined?

Maybe this will help you :grin:
