17,156 PointsBummer! I couldn't import `string_factory`.
I can't figure out why I am getting this error. I thought I needed to call the function, but that wasn't it.
# Example:
# values = [{"name": "Michelangelo", "food": "PIZZA"}, {"name": "Garfield", "food": "lasagna"}]
# string_factory(values)
# ["Hi, I'm Michelangelo and I love to eat PIZZA!", "Hi, I'm Garfield and I love to eat lasagna!"]
template = "Hi, I'm {name} and I love to eat {food}!"
def string_factory(list_of_dict):
my_list = []
for item in list_of_dict:
my_list.append(string.format(**item))
return my_list
string_factory(template)

- Why are you calling the function? The challenge didn't ask you to do that.
- In the function, you called the
format
function on what? Where isstring
defined?
Maybe this will help you
