When I type and follow code as instructed, this comes up: "Bummer! Make sure you define the HTML Doctype tag."

<!DOCTYPE html> this should be the first line of html code.

I can't see what exactly you are being asked to do, but if its stuck on doctype you need to make sure that it is exactly like this: <!DOCTYPE html> and it must be first line. I hope this helps......
