Hexadecimal Values work on a Base16 numbering system. So they go from 0 to 9 and then on to A to F.

h1, h2 { color: #fff; }

This is an example of a hexadecimal value here on your headings level 1 and 2. That makes the text colour white.

So to get a black colour you'd write

p { color: #000;}
