Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types list.remove()

when I am doing challenge task it shows me an error but when I perform the same in my comp it don't show any error

I have a python in my comp when I do staff in it everything ok but in task it shows error, what is wrong?

lists.py
states = [
    'ACTIVE',
    ['red', 'green', 'blue'],
    'CANCELLED',
    'FINISHED',
    5,
]
list_in_list=['active','red','green','blue','cancelled','finished',[5]]
>>> list_in_list.remove([5])

Hi Suleiman

Am not sure why you are creating another list and then trying to remove a list within the list. The first part of the challenge asks you to remove the last item from the list called states which is the number 5. The second part of the challenge asks you to remove the list of colors from the list called states. See below

states.remove(5)
states.remove(['red', 'green', 'blue'])
