$25 a month is a great sacrifice for some people. The Launchspace is still not working after 4 months, and a comment follow up would be

Not only from my part, but it gives you basics, you have forum where its everytime active and just seriously dude xd it might have an issue right now or soemthing . The PRO treehouse would be awesome!

Plus something quite little as that, come on! You will need a local server to work at the end ! or online server .

Sadly customer service is short for a company the size of Treehouse and things are not always completed immediately. They totally could have forget about the whole issue, but throwing your subscription fee and demanding customer service isn't the best way to go about solving an issue.
You are not required to use any workspaces or launchspaces on Treehouse. Those simple creations are programs that are virtuallized on a machine for you to use over the web, you can download these programs on your own for your own course.

5,221 PointsIf you are looking to have php, I would recommend using XAMPP Web-server on your PC/Mac/Linux System
https://www.apachefriends.org/index.html - XAMPP Download
Simply download the program, install it and run it, you will need to run the Apache server. Once you start the apache server, click on the side "Explorer" or navigate to the directory which you installed xampp, in there is a folder called "htdocs", this will be where you place your files.
Download or use a text editor and save it as "index.php" and open your web-browser to "http://127.0.0.1/", save your work and refresh the page.
If you need any help, reply back.
