206 Points2nd challenge add a # symbol and lastName in uppercase to the end of the userName string. not sure what's missing
several attempts, i'm really not sure what is missing. whatever i put, it negates the 1st step

37,463 PointsHi Arno. As a new variable, you can't use '+='. You can only use the '=' symbol when setting a new variable. Plus I doubt you can have '+=' in the same line twice.
But try this:
var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";
var userName = id.toUpperCase() + "#" + lastName.toUpperCase();
