HTML Introduction to HTML and CSS (2016) HTML: The Structural Foundation of Web Pages and Applications Test: Creating an HTML Element

<a href= "#top"> go back to the top of the page.</a> tried this & every variation I could come up with. Nothing works

this seems to be the consensus answer... doesn't work. Tried variations on the theme and looked up the form on the internet... if that isn't correct, what is?

Get rid of the first <a> tag. (<a>images/spain.jpg</a>) The test seems to be looking at that one expecting the link, and not looking at the second one.

Hi Ethan,

You have many problems in you HTML structure.

  1. You need to have only one img tag. The src and the alt attribute should be in that one and only img tag.
  2. Remove the extra anchor tag <a>images/spain.jpg</a>

That's all, it should work now
