Just curious i noticed that Dave uses single quote (' ') instead of double quote (" "). Is it a preference thing or is there an advantage for using single quote

10,636 PointsIn javascript there is no difference, and it's really personal preference.
In other languages, Java, C#, singles quotes signify a char type variable while double quotes would signify a string. And if I recall correctly, in said languages if you tried to wrap a string in single quotes, you would get a compilation error.
