There are two answers to this question in the other thread you started about this. Yes, if you were designing your own site, you can name the classes whatever you like (as long as they are legal class names - most special characters aren't allowed). "main-pg" is just the class name they're asking you to use in this challenge. It has no special meaning in HTML.
