add a doctest to average() that tests the fucntion with the list [1,2]

Hey guys...I need your help here, i don't know what's going on.

def average(num_list):
    """Return the average for a list of number

    >>>divide_the_lists([1,2])
    0.5

    """

    return sum(num_list) / len(num_list)

You are very, very, close. The name of the function call in the docstring test must match the function name:

def average(num_list):
    """Return the average for a list of number

    >>>average([1,2])  #<-- changed to "average"
    0.5

    """

    return sum(num_list) / len(num_list)
