HTML How to Make a Website Creating HTML Content Add Social Media Links

Add images

I am using <img src="img/twitter-wrap.png" alt"Twitter Logo"> to add the image element and it's telling me that I am missing the alt text to my twitter link. what am I doing wrong?

You need to associate the alt property with an equals sign.

Do you have any idea why I did not receive a error for the fist part of the code? The facebook code was also wrong but it did not ask me to fix that.

Probably something to do with how the testing code is constructed on the back end of Treehouse. What I can tell you is that browsers are prone to doing strange things when they encounter syntactical errors in code, and your alt tags will most likely not work without an equals sign.
