I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I've tried everything I could think of. Does my if argument have to include the whole def loopy(items)?
def loopy(items):
for item in items:
print(item)
if item == "STOP":
break

231,248 PointsAnything that is part of a loop must be indented more than the loop statement itself. As it is currently indented, the test will not be done until after the loop finishes.
Also, if you want the loop to end before the word "STOP" is printed, you'll need to place the test and break statements in front of the print line.
