<header>
      <a href="index.html">
        <h1>Nick Pettit</h1>
        <h2>Designer</h2>
      </a>
      <nav>
        <ul>
          <li><a href="#">Portfolio</a><li>
          <li><a href="#">About</a><li>
          <li><a href="#">Contact</a><li>
        </ul>
      </nav>
    </header>

This is the proper structure of a navigation. Replace the # with the proper path.

Hi Rachel

You should be able to add them (assuming it is to a list) like so

<ul>
<li><a href="link">Link Name</a></li>
</ul>

The basic run down is

<ul> - This opens your list
<li> Specifies the list item
<a> Opens the anchor tag
href="" - Specifies where you would like you link to go to

and then the rest are closing tags. Hope this helps!
