Adding an Intent

Am failing to add an Intent anyone who can help. The error I am getting is as below

./LaunchActivity.java:19: error: cannot find symbol Intent intent = new Intent (FlightActivity,LaunchActivity.this); // Add your code in here! ^ symbol: variable FlightActivity 1 error

LaunchActivity.java
import android.content.Intent;
import android.os.Bundle;
import android.view.View;
import android.widget.Button;

public class LaunchActivity extends Activity {

  public Button mLaunchButton;

  @Override
  protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
    super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
    setContentView(R.layout.activity_launch);

    mLaunchButton = (Button)findViewById(R.id.launchButton);
    mLaunchButton.setOnClickListener(new View.OnClickListener() {
      @Override
      public void onClick(View v) {
       Intent intent = new Intent (FlightActivity,LaunchActivity.this); // Add your code in here!

      }
    });
  }
}

You're nearly there:

Intent intent = new Intent(LaunchActivity.this, FlightActivity.class);

That should do it - you move from the first Activity to the second.

Hope that helps. There is another post about it here which may help you futher.

Steve.
