What exactly are you trying to add the image to? As Michael Alaev said, the full code would be very helpful :)

I can only guess that you're trying to add an image to a list element, so you'd do as such:

'''html <li><img src="images/photo1.jpg" alt=""></li> ''' or for http links:

'''html <li><img src="https://wac.a8b5.edgecastcdn.net/80A8B5/achievement-images/flags/ipad_default_2x_cover-css-foundations.png" alt=""></li> '''
