Adding Pages to a Website 3 of 5

Directions are to Select the image and make it a block element-- I don't understand why the following does not achieve this. note--I have used created the class="profile-photo" in the html:

profile-photo { display: block; }

looks like this discussion format condenses all of this...

.profile-photo with a period in front of it for a class.
