Adding YouTube API to android.

Ok, I have tried to tackle this a few months ago and got discourage. Now i'm trying again. I'm totally lost on how i should do this. Like what do I need to do to make my app that i'm making for the church be able to play videos from their YouTube channel. I don't know if its a simple copy "this code" and paste it into the app you are building. I'm the type that wants to know why and how it works. Anyone willing to give me a crash course there or point me in the the right direction?

Hi Ben,

Have you had a look through the Google Developers docs on this? There seems to be a downloadable set of example projects here.

I've not used the YouTube API but would expect it to be fairly user-friendly. Have a work through the downloads around that page and see if that makes sense to you.

Steve.
