adjusting size of social icons.

Hi; Im working on reducing the size of the Facebook and twitter logos in the footer, and i ran across a problem. I put in the same code as the video, but it won't change the size. P.S. side point, anyone know why theres a period before the ".social-icon?" he put one in the tutorial... heres the code, Thanks.

.social-icon { width: 20px; height: 20px; margin: 0 5px; }

Hi Nosson,

The period is there because social-icon is a class name.
If you look in the html it will look something like this:

<div class="social-icon">

The period denotes a class in the same way # denotes an id

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
