admitted=none if age>13: print(admitted) its showing admitted is not true, what mistake did i make in that code ?

it's showing admitted is not true while the condition i have putted is right.

if age >= 13:

           print(age)

That challenge does read quite strangely. I had to re-read it to understand what it was wanting.

Your conditional statement is right, but they don't want you to print the age in that first challenge, they just want you to set admitted variable to True. So your code in that first step of the challenge would look like this.

admitted = None

if age >= 13:
    admitted = True
