HTML How to Make a Website CSS: Cascading Style Sheets Use ID Selectors

After validating the file path and checking the code, can't figure out why the preview doesn't reflect the css updates?

I was following along on the video. I was careful about saving the file and moving it to the CSS folder. I made sure to put main.css after normalize. And when I attempted to change the background color, I followed the video. But the site doesn't reflect the color change. When I attempted to change the link decoration, those changes were not reflected either. Snapshot of workspace is below (the css has code for both the background color change and the link decoration). What am I missing?
