Again where am I going wrong?

I am understanding more and more but still missing pieces. Can someone maybe help explain where I need to focus in this challenge without giving me the answer? Thank you

even.py
import random
start= 5
def even_odd(num):
        return not num % 2
while start:
    even_odd= random.randint(1, 99)
    if % 2 == 0
        print("{} is even".format(even_odd))
    else:
        print("{} is odd".format(even_odd))
        start -=1
    # If % 2 is 0, the number is even.
    # Since 0 is falsey, we have to invert it with not.

You have 2 mistakes, one of them is in the indentation, and the other is in the syntax, this documentation can help you out http://python-reference.readthedocs.io/en/latest/docs/operators/modulus.html
