8,749 Pointsalert function problem
Call the function and display the results in an alert dialog. You can pass the results of a function directly to the alert() method.
Having trouble with this part of the challenge.
function max(a, b) {
if (a == b) {
return 'equal';
}
return a > b? a : b;
}

8,378 PointsYou want to pass the max() function inside the alert function(). Something like this
function max(a,b) {
if(a>b) {
return a;
}
else { return b;}
}
max(10,4);
alert(max(10,4)); // This is calling the max() function.

1,088 PointsHi Abe, I'm confused on why a,b suddenly become 10,4 when calling the alert.?
Thanks.
