ANDROID EMULATOR

My emulator is running perfectly but my application aint showing in the emulator cant preview it.Can anybody help im working on my project and everything is all right. Please help what steps can i take to bail myself out.

Hey Tichaona!

I'll happily look into this for you but have a few questions to ask beforehand:

  • Are you able to see the Run menu?
  • If so, are you able to see your emulator as a debuggable device?

Hi Tichaona,

Did you click on the run button in android studio and wait till it loaded?

Any questions, just ask and I or another student can hopefully answer it.

Hi Peter I did wait for it to load and even unlocked the emulator its only showing other default applications on the emulator like contacts,messaging blah blah blah,but my application ain't showing. Any additional help will be highly appreciated.

Did you slowly click on the apps button? (4 dots in a circle) It may be in there.
