Have you enabled "USB debugging" option on your android phone under "Developer options" of setting menu. If not try that if you are not seeing any developer option on your phone go to Settings-->About phone-->Build number(Tap 7 times on build number) This will enable developer option on your phone once activated

Go to Developer options-->Check USB Debugging Option

Now connect your phone with proper USB cable and see if Android Studio is detecting your device by Clicking on Run Button,in the the pop up menu next for 'Choose your running device' select your connected device then Click Ok this should launch your App in phone
