Android Studio doesn't work

I just downloaded the latest Android Studio Version for Mac and when i start one proyect i got: Gradle project sync failed. Basic functionality (e.g. editing, debugging) will not work properly. I do not find some info about this. The ide suggest me not to work offline but offline mode is disabled.

Hi Luis!

I am also using Android Studio on OS X and I can certainly say I never experienced any problems like you are. What version of OS X are you running? I have installed it fine on Mavericks 10.9.5.

The only thing I would suggest trying is updating it to the very newest version and then if that doesn't work just re-download it and try again.
