Seems simple but cant see why its not working, keeps saying syntax error, expected end statment
Sorry i did click add code to comment, for a site that teaches code its not very smooth.
def speedChecker(car_speed)
if (car_speed >= 40) && (car_speed <= 50)
return puts "safe"
else
return puts "unsafe"
end
i have tried this with and without the return statments

Try adding another 'end' (so that the method is also closed.)
With the return statements, you only need to return the strings (no printing necessary.)
The compiler seems to be expecting the method name to be kept the same as it is in the sample code it gives you.
def check_speed(car_speed)
if (car_speed >= 40) && (car_speed <= 50)
return "safe"
else
return "unsafe"
end
end
