assigning images in <section>. What's wrong with my code?

I uploaded the zip file images and I wrote out all the code so that there are open and closing clauses but it somehow doesn't allow me to move forward. I'm not understanding what I'm doing wrong.

Welcome to Treehouse!

The first thing I see is that you don't want to add another nav element inside the section, just the ul unordered list. So you can remove the nav tags from there.

For the second part, the challenge specifically doesn't want you to add any a anchor links around your img image tags. You'll need to remove all of the a anchor tags around your img image elements within your ul unordered list.

Once you make those two minor changes, the rest of your code looks good.

With those two changes, your section element will end up looking something like the code below.

<section>
  <ul>
    <li>
      <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt="">
    </li>
    <li>
      <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt="">
    </li>
    <li>
      <img src="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt="">
    </li>
  </ul>
</section>
