Unable to use this method for 4.1 ruby, so what is an alternative that I can use and still use belongs_to

Hey John,

I would suggest using strong_params. However, if you just want to follow along with the videos exactly how they're going about it, you could add gem 'protected_attributes' into your gemfile, then run bundle in your command line.

Hi , I typed ''' gem 'protected_attributes' ''' into the gemfile and then run the bundle. Now would you please explain how can I protect a certain attribute like user_id?
