HTML How to Make a Website CSS: Cascading Style Sheets Center the Wrapper

auto part not changing anything on my screen? trying to follow course ```CSS #wrapper { margin: 0 auto; } ```

tried this on my own projects, still with this problem, where I'm trying to center something, with no changes, been using % to resize the edges, but not ideal.

For margin: 0 auto; to center something, that element must also have display: block; applied to it.
