Ruby

-bash: eval syntax error in terminal

Hey everyone.

So here's the deal. At some point during the Ruby Dev track, I started getting an error when I open terminal. it says:

Last login: Sat Apr 23 12:31:47 on ttys000 -bash: eval: line 1: syntax error near unexpected token )' -bash: eval: line 1: init -)' Shenyah-and-Ricks:~ Rick$

Around the same time, I noticed that Atom started running painfully slowly.

A. Could these things be related? B. What's causing the error? C. How do I fix it?

Thanks in advance for your assistance!
