beneath the max function you just created call it with two numbers and display the results in an alert dialog.

pass the result of the function to the alert method

script.js
function max(a, b){
  if(a > b) {
    return a;
  } else {
    return b;

  }
}

Final code should looklike this:

function max(a, b){ if(a > b) { return a; } else { return b;

} } alert(max(4,5));

After the very last bracket in your code add something like this:

alert(max(4,5));

Whats happening is you are calling the function and including 2 arguments. The result of the function call are displayed as an alert.
