Beneath the max function you just created, call it with two numbers and display the results in an alert dialog. Pass the

i cant seem to pass 2 numbers to the 'max' function.

script.js
function max( num1,num2 ){
  if( num1 > num2 ){
  return num1;
  } else {
  return num2;
  }
}

console.log( max(4,2) );
alert(max);

Hey there, Rensyl.

The issue you're having is because you're calling the alert() function on max without passing it any parameters.

Replace console.log(max(4, 2)); with alert(max(4, 2)); and it should run fine. The code I've written below executed properly and met the challenge requirements:

function max(num1, num2) {
  if (num1 > num2) {
    return num1;
  } else {
    return num2;
  }
}
alert(max(4, 2));

The console.log() method outputs the result to the console (in Chrome you can access this with CTRL+SHIFT+J). The alert() method makes a little popup appear in your browser. The challenge wants you to use alert() specifically.

Hope this helps! :-)
