Hi,
Could you please give an example of best/must-have magazine to read and follow for visual marketing professional and web designer?
I'm looking something to help keeping myself on the top of the game. For example if I would be an economist or a future researcher I would be reading Economist or Foreign Policy. 21,750 PointsNet was the only magazine i ever subscribed to (digitally) but Smashing is good as well. A List Apart is also a well respected site as well. To be honest though, I haven't have subscriptions to any magazines (digital or print) for awhile and agree with the advice that following people on Twitter is a suitable replacement (and often times more timely). Treehouse had a blog post that has some good accounts, but a search for "top twitter accounts for [PROFESSION]" should yield plenty of results and putting related people in lists also helps to just read tweets/links from specific fields.
