I am following along with this tutorial and I cannot seem to get my screen to change colors. What could be going wrong? I've followed along and written my code exactly like the tutorial.

Thank you so much for your help! I figured it out. It was because I was using Chrome. It worked perfectly fine on Firefox.

Are you sure ? It's quite odd, as media queries are supposed to work with Chrome without any problem.
