breakpoints not working on chrome ok on firefox

is there a setting on chrome that is needed to view the breakpoint.

Assuming you want this media query to take effect at 480px you should use the code below. max-width tells the browser to look for anything equal to or less than 480px.

@media screen and (max-width: 480px) { body { background: navy; } }
