breaks.py I just don't see it.

I just don't see where I went wrong. I really want to get the hang of the basics. IF anyone can help, would appreciate it.

    for thing in items:
      print(thing)
    if thing == "STOP":
      break

You're almost right, just put your if statement before the printing part, so it doesn't print the "thing" if it is equal to "STOP" and breaks.

def loopy(items):
    # Code goes here
    for thing in items:
        if thing == "STOP":
            break
        print(thing)

Ya know I originally had the print command at the bottom but it game me a fricken Bummer! I don't know. But I'm glad it wasn't anything major. One line of code at a time, right?
