Build a simple Android App vs Build a simple Android App (2014)

Hi! I see, that there are two Build a simple Android App courses on Treehouse, but I don't know which is the newer and which I should do now. Could someone help me? Thank you.

The course without a year is the newer version. The newer version is revised to reflect that users should go into Android dev with some knowledge of Java, while the older course kind of taught Java in addition to teaching Android dev.
