I cannot find a file called test_mail_basic.php in the PHPMailer archive. I presume this is because it has been renamed. Does anyone know which code I should be copying?

6,370 PointsYou can use the mail.phps file as an example. You'll have to find certain pieces of code since the order of the code is different than in the video since he's using an older version phpMailer.
Here's the file: https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/blob/master/examples/mail.phps

I tried following along with the new version and by the end of the project the mailer would not work. So I've had to backtrack to here and start over with the mailer using 5.2. Really wishing I had used git to version control this project.

2,630 PointsI found that if you watch through this video and the next video that it's actually easier to just type the little code that ends up left and in the project from the example than to track down versions or anything else. Just my preference and thanks for the other suggestions.
