4,781 PointsBummer: Didn't correctly set the `@price` property
https://teamtreehouse.com/community/define-setter-property - link to Andrea's question.
I did same as Andrea and I don't know what I am supposed to do. 'They just want a way to update the base price itself.'. I don't understand it.
class Product:
_price = 0.0
tax_rate = 0.12
def __init__(self, base_price):
self._price = base_price
@property
def price(self):
return self._price + (self._price * self.tax_rate)
@price.setter
def price(self, price):
self._price = price / (tax_rate + 1)

54,972 PointsJust update the price with the price passed in. There is no need for calculations with the tax rate.
