Bummer! Make sure you return a nicely formatted string.

The code looks right, but I get the following error message: Bummer! Make sure you return a nicely formatted string.

In the workspace, the code seems to produce exactly what this problem asks for. What am I doing wrong?

method.rb
def mod(a, b)
  c = a % b
  puts "The remainder of #{a} divided by #{b} is #{c}."
  return a % b
end

mod(16, 5)

Hi Will,

You want to return the string, not puts. The line return a % b is not needed.

hi - i get the same error

def mod(a, b) puts "The remainder of #{a} divided by #{b} is #{a % b}." return a % b end
