231,236 PointsThe sequence "\n" is what is known as an "escape code". This particular one represents a newline, which causes the output to go down to the next line instead of continuing along on the same line. Without these codes, the separate code strings in the example program would just output on a single line, all joined together.

820 Points^ To make it even simpler, \n makes it a new line.
print("Hello... \n World!")
This would output:
Hello...
World!
