Can I take the Genesis course without purchasing the theme?

I have started the Genesis course for WordPress but just had the bombshell that it;s a premium framework so there's a download fee. I could purchase it but I'd rather have a client project to use it for before I invest.

Hey Jonathan,

I took the Genesis course, but quite awhile ago. I remember it vaguely, but I do know I did not purchase any themes to follow along. So, yeah, you can definitely do the course without buying the theme.

Thanks Jason :)

I actually downloaded a theme a few months ago for a client that I did purchase which went by the name of Genesis but from memory and without looking back in to it, I'm not sure if it's actually one of the Genesis Premium themes featured in this course which slightly disappoints me as I was looking forward to getting into the ins and outs of how that was put togther. But that's okay I digress slightly.

It'll be interesting to keep following along then and see what Genesis is capable of. :-)
