Can some one help me with this task ?

where did I go wrong

disemvowel.py
def disemvowel(word):
    lst = ['a','e','i','o','u']
    word = word.lower()
    for letter in lst:
        words = list(word)
        if letter not in words:
            continue
        postion = words.index(letter)
        del(words[postion])
        word = "".join(words)
    return word

Your for loops only 5 times (the length of lst). If a letter in word is repeated only the first instance of it will be found and removed.

Try looping over the letters in words and comparing if in letters.
