iOS Objective-C Basics (Retired) Fundamentals of C Arrays

Can some one tell me what I did wrong?

Print the value of the first item in the math_constants array. Your output should look like this: Euler's number = 2.71828

float math_constants[ ] = {2.71828, 1.41421}; math_constants[0] = 2.71828; math_constants[1] = 1.41421;

printf("Numbers Like %f\n", math_constants[0]);

arrays.c
float math_constants[ ] = {2.71828, 1.41421};
math_constants[0] = 2.71828;
math_constants[1] = 1.41421;

printf("Numbers Like %f\n", math_constants[0]);

the task states: Print the value of the first item in the math_constants array. Your output should look like this: Euler's number = 2.71828

your output currently looks like "Numbers Like: 2.71828" which is not correct. it needs to be "Euler's number = 2.71828". your generally have to do exactly what the challenge asks you to do. if you provide it with something its not expecting, you will not pass

to make your output match what the challenge is expecting, you will need to change your printf statement to:

printf("Euler's number = %f\n", math_constants[0]);

the above will output "Euler's number = 2.71828" which is what you need to pass.

making the changes described above gives you the full code of:

float math_constants[ ] = {2.71828, 1.41421};
math_constants[0] = 2.71828;
math_constants[1] = 1.41421;
printf("Euler's number = %f\n", math_constants[0]);

Thank you
