Can someone please tell me or give me an example of a sample layout page using HTML5 tags.

I am a beginner to programming and trying to understand and practice using HTML5. However, I am overwhelmed and confused by people using different tags in their HTML page. Can someone here direct me to some source where they have sample web pages made using HTML5. Other then that, is their a strict or right way of constructing a HTMl5 web page.
