Can you tell whats wrong with this function Ive created?

Im not sure whats wrong with the function I created for this challenge, but I keep getting an error but i'm almost certain this is correct.

function returnValue (argu) {
    var echo = argu;
    return echo;
}

returnValue("the string");

Hi Chanel, When you call your function you have to save the result into a variable:

var echo = returnValue("the string");
